Jodi is an experienced small business manager, having spent years caring for children at her preschool. She got the idea to launch Jodi K’s Boutique when she realized she (along with women friends and family members) usually traveled to Cedar Falls, Chicago, or Iowa City to shop for clothing. “Cedar Rapids needed a women’s clothing boutique, and I’m so very glad we’re here to serve the market. We’re helping the local economy and every style-minded woman who shops here!”

Marilyn has a 25-year career in retail. Formerly a buyer for Higley’s, she enjoys working developing personal relationships with the women who shop Jodi K’s.”We’re like a small family,” said Marilyn when asked what she likes best about working at Jodi K’s. “I’m able to give every customer my personal attention, and they rely on my judgement.” Marilyn knows that looking great is as much about personal confidence and attitude as much as it is clothing. “A well-appointed outfit can carry a woman from day to evening.”

A crafter and style maven, Kellie combines her talents to operate Kathleen Rose Designs, a shabby chic accessories business. Kellie’s perspective on style is welcomed by customers who want a fun, colorful, put-together look.
